All things Shopify and commerce
Hi! I've just set up my Shopify and I tried to place an order on my phone and then again on someone else's using details of different people and it just keeps saying that the order couldn't be processed, does anyone know what the issue could be? Thank you 😊.
Hi, @InvisionSocials!
Thanks for reaching out in our Community forums and for sharing your concern, I’d be happy to help.
Congratulations on setting up your store! It sounds like you are in the middle of testing your payment gateways and are experiencing some issues. I encourage you to check out this article that lists some common issues related to your store's payment systems and provides links to troubleshooting steps.
May I ask which payment gateway you set up? For instance, if you used Shopify Payments, you want to ensure that you followed this setup guide and can use this method to test your payments. You can also visit our Help Center and log in to your account to create a support request so that our team can take a closer look at the issue. Once you visit the Help Center, you can select the live chat, email, or callback options.
I’d also love to provide you with some feedback on your newly developed store. Feel free to share your URL if you’d like! In the meantime, you can check out our Shopify Store Launch Checklist as this provides a methodical approach to ensure that everything on your store is optimized for conversion.

Hi again, @InvisionSocials!
Thank you for following up.
You can use a third party payment gateway to collect your payments. Shopify has partnered with leading international payment providers to support your sales efforts. Your customers can pay in their local currency using their preferred payment method. Here at the steps to set this up:
You can use this landing page here to find all of the available payment gateways in your the Isle of Man. Let me know how it goes!
I'd be happy to share some feedback. Firstly, you can check out our Shopify Store Launch Checklist as this provides a methodical approach to ensure that everything on your store is optimized for launch. Since you're dealing with digital products, may I ask how you set your fulfillment up? For instance, are you using a digital downloads app?
In terms of your design, I'm a fan of the minimalist approach but would love to see some more content from your end. Perhaps you could look to include a testimonials section on your homepage? You could also look at connecting your Instagram reel as well. I also notice that you don't have a footer set up yet. This is a great place to highlight your terms of service, contact details and other important information.

Hello @InvisionSocials,
Good day! Gina from flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $6Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot.
If you're experiencing issues placing orders on your Shopify store, there are a few potential reasons why this might be happening.
1. Payment gateway issues
If you're using a third-party payment gateway to process transactions on your store, there may be issues with the integration between your store and the gateway. Check to see if there are any reported issues with the payment gateway and try again later.
2. Shipping address issues
Make sure that the shipping address you're using is valid and matches the requirements set by your shipping carrier. Some carriers have specific requirements for shipping addresses, such as including a ZIP code or a valid phone number.
3. Fraud detection
Shopify has built-in fraud detection measures to protect merchants from fraudulent orders. If the system detects a potential fraud risk, it may block the order from being processed. Try using a different payment method or shipping address to see if that resolves the issue.
4. Technical issues
There may be technical issues with your store or your phone that are preventing the order from being processed. Try accessing your store on a different device or clearing your browser cache and cookies.
If you're still experiencing issues after trying these steps, I recommend contacting Shopify support for further assistance. They'll be able to help you troubleshoot the issue and identify any potential problems with your store configuration.
