Why can't I add beats as products for sale on my platform?

When trying to add a beat as a product, it cant be added. ? why shopify doesnt take mp3, or wav files? I want to sell audio files.

To sell digital products on your store, you may find it best to install a digital downloads app, which is designed so that you can upload and sell digital files including mp3 or wav.

The Digital Downloads | Shopify App Store app is entirely free and built by Shopify. There may be alternate options as well in our App Store that may provide different or more robust features too.
