I can't connect my bank account manually in Shopify payments. When I correctly put my Routing number and Account number to add my bank it says that error with this account "Routing number is not supported" I'm using Payoneer and Wise bank account which everybody does outside of USA. I tried my both bank accounts with Routing numbers and account but it still says that the routing number is not supported. I use my bank account for international purposes and they work perfectly fine
Then I tried to use my friend's Payoneer account. I entered his routing number and Account correctly and it again said, routing number is not supported. Which means problem is with my shopify account and not with the routing number.
I contacted Shopify support and he said Everything is fine with your Shopify store. The card you used to buy the Shopify plan is Mastercard which is perfect and the routing number is also correct the bank account is also eligible for payouts. He said everything in your store looks fine yet I still don't know why your bank account isn't connecting. He said I'm handling this issue to the business team and they'll reach you out shortly.
They obviously didn't reach me out anywhere. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I understand you're in the process of trying to add either Payoneer or Wise bank accounts to Shopify Payments but are running into an issue.
Payoneer and Wise are both virtual bank accounts that are supported by Shopify Payments. In order to use Shopify Payments, your bank account should be a full checking account, in the correct currency and eligible for ACH transfers. You can find more information in our help center resource on which payment methods are accepted for your Shopify bill.
You mentioned that you already communicated with our support team and your ticket has been transferred to our business team. Rest assured, our business team is actively reviewing your ticket and will follow up with you if any further information is required. That being said, if you have additional questions, they would be best directed to your existing support ticket. You can follow up with the team by replying directly to your ticket.

Dear Victoria,
I am also facing the same issue while adding my wise account as payout, its not accepting it, however the account is checking account and is the same currency USD as of my shopify store.
What would you recommend for me to raise a support ticket or the issue can sorted somehow by following certain instructions?

When attempting to connect your Wise bank account, could you share what error messages you're seeing? If you're able to provide a screenshot, that would be helpful to our team.
Could you try a different bank account and let us know if you're experiencing the same issue(s)?

I have also the same problem but i have an other bank called KBC. I wont accept my cart number.
What can i do?
Hello Suzanna11 , can I ask if they figured it out? I am having the same issue 25 days now. my payout wont go through because the numbers they gave me are no good i am told and no one knows where the money is just says pending everywhere. However i get either the number don't match the system or the numbers are not accepted message?

It says: "invalid credit card number"

Could you make sure that you are not adding an additional character or space at the end of your credit card number?
