Why can't I see my store for free?

When you create a new Shopify store, it is password-protected by default. This ensures that only people with the password can access your store until you're ready to complete the setup and publish it.

The page you're seeing is the password page. To view your store, you'll need to enter the password, which you can find by navigating to Online Store > Preferences > Password Protection. The password will be displayed in the password field there.

If you'd like to remove password protection, simply uncheck the Restrict access to visitors with the password option.
