All things Shopify and commerce
Please help! So I'm trying to set up my shop on Facebook and Instagram. For some reason on Instagram it keeps saying something went wrong. But my probk3m is when I go on my shopify click on store and go down to Facebook and Instagram click on that and it tells ypu about selling on Facebook and all and then I cluck on the button that says start setup, then it takes me to a page where it says to connect account. I click on that and it immediately goes to login disabled. Saying logging into Facebook from an embedded browser is disabled and to continue to download and login into the Facebook app on your device and try again. I don't know what to do. I'm using the shopify app on my phone and keep getting this! How do I fix this?
This can happen sometimes and the easiest way around it is to try in the actual browser on your device instead of the mobile app. You can sign into your merchant account through www.shopify.com and go through the steps to finish setting up your Facebook account.
If you continue to have issues please make sure your device, browser and app are all up to date and also try on a computer instead of your phone.

Hello @Kissmypolish,
I am Gina from flareAI app - free sales machine, and I am here to support you.
It sounds like you are experiencing an issue with the login process for your Facebook account through the Shopify app.
Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue:
1. Try logging into your Facebook account through a web browser on your computer. If you can successfully log in, then the issue might be specific to the Shopify app.
2. Make sure that you have the latest version of the Facebook app installed on your phone.
3. Check your Facebook account settings to make sure that logging in from embedded browsers is enabled. To do this, log in to your Facebook account through a web browser on your computer, click on the down arrow in the top right corner of the screen, and select "Settings & Privacy" > "Settings" > "Security and Login". Scroll down to "Where You're Logged In" and click on "Edit". Make sure that the option "Log in with the Facebook app" is enabled.
4. Clear the cache and cookies in the Shopify app on your phone. To do this, go to your phone's settings, select "Apps & Notifications" > "Shopify" > "Storage" > "Clear Cache" and "Clear Data".
5. Uninstall and reinstall the Shopify app on your phone. This will ensure that you have the latest version of the app installed and that any previous configuration issues are resolved.
If none of these steps work, you may want to contact Shopify support for further assistance.
Let me know if you require any further guidance.
