Why did my ecommerce account get terminated?

My shopify account gotten terminated and I am not getting proper reason, please someone help me to rid out from this, I just wants to know what are the reasons behind termination of my account

If not, I would recommend contacting a live Support Advisor through our chat or callback system via this link as they will be able to authenticate and look into your store on the back-end.

From here, your account can be escalated to the appropriate team.

I got reply from your operational business team but they are not providing me the reason as I am getting only response that we are unable to provide you the reason as risk, please ask them by your end

Which risk shopify have if they reveal me the reason of termination as I’ve
spent much for this store whereas I don’t even know the reason atleast

If they have already escalated your ticket for you, you should receive an email from our Risk team within 48 - 72 hours!

Hello,

yes shopify closed my store as well without giving me any valid reason, after asking fof details their risk team said they cannot “divulge” in the details. Theyre also holding over 9k in funds to be paid out and have my domain on hold. Its amazing how they can just put you out of business with no questions asked. I wouldnt suggest anyone waste their time or business with shopify, look elsewhere, theyll hold your money, close your store, and hold your domain without a good explanation of “why” they did it.. thank you shopify for taking everything from me in the blink of an eye. I can tell they care their customers depend on the store to pay bills with. What a shame

Hi,

It's happening with me too, I have written multiple emails to them and I am still waiting for them to respond. I don't know what's the reason that they would all of the sudden terminate the store without any prior notice.

Did you get a response from them? What happened finally?

It has to be robbery clearly nowadays, my store got also shut down for no reason they just steal money. How should i access my custmers if you shut me down for no valid reason.

Yes, the same situation here, my account was terminated out of the blue. Unlike you, I was in the process of building my store and figuring out various settings. I've asked for clarifications, however only a vague reply was received. When I asked for a refund of the yearly shopify plan that I had bought, I was advised by shopify to contact my bank. What sort of business is this?

Hey, the same thing happened to me today, made about 4 sales and then received an email to say I was in violation of act 7 of their terms of service, I also have €150 on hold for withdrawals.. did you get yours sorted in the end?

Hey together, 
same happened to our store today. 
The store was not even live, still in the building process and password protected. 
Out of the blue we received a mail: 

"After reviewing your information and website __________, we have determined that you are in violation of Section 7 of the Shopify Acceptable Use Policy and we are therefore unable to support your business. We are terminating your account in accordance with our right in Section 14.3 of Shopify Terms of Service."

I received the same email, I got in contact with customer service and they said my case has been escalated and it could take up to 72 hours to reply…

nothing happens i pushed for more than 2 weeks and they say its final, not once they thought about checking it to see that it has been a mistake, now its just to be lucky to receive maybe something after 120 days..

Same thing happen to me I was just wondering were you still charged for the domain subscription or Shopify subscription. They have to have one of the worst customer service ever.
