Why did the search bar changes on my e-commerce platform happen?

Hi Shopify and Community,

I am only going to show 2 things to disgust:

 1. the search bar no longer shown by default. Shame. On. You.

    2. now it's infected with a "in:All" non clickable nightmare.

Why? Why have you done this? Why have you done this to the poor recently hidden search bar that was already suffering from laggy reverse input calculations while typing things in? What have we done to be inconsiderate admin users to shopify that such things have befallen us? Have we complained that the Search bar needed some sort of change? Has there been a need to have this to happen?

I love shopify, but I do question the viability of the UX decisions being made.

Now, I could be wrong and I'm the only shopify site that has this issue. If so, please ignore this message. Better that one store admin fails so that all the other succeed.

I was also thrown off by this. Mine works fine but it is an eye sore.

I have noticed the "in:All" filter tags were removed from the search bar. 

This, is wonderful.
