Follow this Steps to send them mail :
From your Shopify admin, go to Orders > Abandoned checkouts.

Click the number of the checkout that you want to recover.

Click Send a cart recovery email.

Optional: you can enter a custom message and click the box beside each email address you want to send a copy to.

Click Review email.

Review your email and click Send notification, or click Back to make any changes.

The Recovery status on the Abandoned checkout page will only update to show as recovered if the customer completes their order using that link.

I hope this helps. I'm a shopify store designer, don't hesitate to message me should in case you face any other issues.

Hi @KylieG11,

According to this article, there're 4 main reasons why people abandon their carts. Check if they belong to 1 of these cases:

  • Being forced to create an account.
  • Struggling with complicated checkout processes.
  • Unexpected delivery costs.
  • Concerns over security.

You can review your abandoned checkouts to find patterns that might suggest why your customers aren't completing orders. You can also expand payment events for more details. Payment events can be helpful if a customer is trying to place an order and their payment fails.

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Orders > Abandoned checkouts.

  2. Click an abandoned checkout.

  3. Scroll to History.

  4. Click a payment event.

The next step is to send the customer a link to their abandoned checkout as already Horlameebiza mentioned. For further details, you can refer to this guide.

I hope this helps.

Hi there, @KylieG11,

Thank you for your post, and welcome to the Shopify Community! I'd be happy to help you out.

You've already received some great tips from @AvadaCommerce and @Horlameebiza. I just wanted to check in and see if you'd like to share your store's URL so I can test it out and see if there's any issues with the checkout or shipping prices. I also have a few Shopify blogs that you can check out for more tips and tricks on reducing the number of abandoned carts on your store:

Again, I'd be happy to take a look at your store if you want to reply to me here with your URL.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi there,

I believe you're using Shopify and since you're on Shopify there is no problem with your pages or checkout process. (Test it and make sure you don't have any technical issues)

We analyzed more than 300 stores, directly talked with more than 500 e-commerce customers.

The most common reason behind the cart recovery (if you're using Shopify) not hard abandonment, soft abandonment. What I mean by soft abandonment is people just postponing their buying decision for later

They want to have your products but not just today, maybe later. You can only solve this problem by giving a real reason to your customers to decide right away, not later.

I explained details in here.
