Hi, @DannySho!
Thanks for reaching out in our Community Forums and for sharing your concern, I’d be happy to point you in the right direction.

From what I understand, you are experiencing an issue where the confirmation email after a purchase is being sent to your customers' spam folder. Is this happening with multiple orders or just one specific order? There can be several reasons for this, but there are steps you can take to ensure that your emails are delivered as expected.

First, I recommend using this website as a helpful resource to test the trust level of your email with third-party email hosts. I believe it would be worth trying for you.

Additionally, it is important to ensure that your sender email is authenticated. You can check the status of authentication by following this link or by creating an email campaign and using the edit link next to the sender email.

Let me know how that goes!

Hello,

I just came across your solution of this problem of shopify  order confirmation emails going into spam. I m also facing the same  problem.

Our domain is www.zilikaa.com from godaddy and running on Shopify.

Sender email is team@zilikaa.com

I  have tried above steps as you mentioned and in tester email, its shows me -

"You do not have a DMARC record"

Pls help me in this how to set it up.

Thanks

Hi, @zilikaa!

Thank you for joining this thread.

I understand that you are still facing issues with your confirmation emails being sent to your customers' spam folders. If you wish to set up a DMARC record, you will need to access your domain's DNS settings through your domain registrar or hosting provider. Once there, you can create a TXT record with the appropriate DMARC policy and publish it in your DNS configuration. For instance, a policy like "v=DMARC1; p=none" can be used. To receive further guidance on configuring your record, it may be helpful to reach out to GoDaddy.

If you have any further questions or need assistance, please let me know.

I got my domain through Shopify, but I've reached out to the customer support and they weren't able to help. Maybe you can shed some light on this?

I also need to setup DMARC and I can access the DNS settings on the Shopify backend, but I'm not sure what I should input and where.  Please help!
