All things Shopify and commerce
When I'm searching for my store on Google, it says in the description to be able to enter, use a password. I had a password in the beginning while I filled my store with products, but I removed the password a couple days ago already. the search results still come up as if I still have a password. how can I change that??? please help! TIA 🙂

Hey, @ChristinR11188.
Thank you for reaching out and posting this question!
If you've recently removed the password protection for your online store, then it can take Google some time to index your store in their search results. We'd recommend first ensuring that you've set a title and meta description for your online store and then there are a couple options for you to speed up the process for Google to index your site. One option is to find and submit your sitemap, or the second option is to ask Google to re-crawl your URLs using Google Search Console.
That being said, I'd love to hear more about your business and share some resources to help you get started. What types of products are you selling? Do you have a marketing plan prepared for your store?
