Hey there, @mpatsia. Thanks for reaching out to the Shopify Community with your question!

This behaviour is likely happening to help customers who visited your store, and filled their carts, completed their purchase more easily upon returning to your store. This helps with order conversations, and also helps improve the buyer experience!

I hope that information is helpful! Definitely let me know if I misunderstood your question!

hallo @Imogen

thank you for answer this question. currently i have same issue as it.

In my case, the cart must be cleared after logout because this is a b2b company's site and they only show prices to authorized people. So even if someone tries to log in (new account method), they won't be able to see the prices of the items or checkout unless the site admin authorizes them.

The problem is that the card is not reset after the authorized  account logout.
For example)
An authorized customer puts something in the cart, logs out, and an unauthorized person logs in from the same computer. The newly logged-in revision is unauthorized, but they can already see the items that the authorized customer put in the cart before. And it has the price information, which should only be visible to the authorized customer.

So I need to reset the shopping cart on this site. Is this something that shopify offers, or is there a workaround that you would recommend?
