Why does my downloaded theme lack content on Shopify?

Ever time I download a theme from the Shopify themes it is missing all its content all mine contains is a small feature products and slideshow

All the templates I I download loon the same and have nothing on them they
just look like the pic
With 1 featured product section

 basically as seen in the pics the 1st is what the template should look like but every time I download one it is missing most of the content of the template
