All things Shopify and commerce
The title explains it all. When a product page has multiple variants, the compare at price does not work. It will show something like "$432 $432." @Shopify —please explain why this important function does not work on product pages with multiple variants. This has been a serious bug for some time now.
Hello. I have several questions.
1. What theme are you using ?
2. Has the product page code been modified ?
3. Can I see a code snippet used to render the prices ?
I'll look into it and get back to you.
You're just restating the question. I know it doesn't work. My question is why.
Hi, @Jordan42
Thanks for posting to the Forums!
The 'Compare at' price doesn't display the multiple price comparisons as it can look cluttered and confusing to customers. I can definitely appreciate that you feel this to be an important feature. Thus, I've submitted this feedback to our developers on your behalf.
In the meantime, there are coding changes you can apply to your theme to adjust this. If you aren't comfortable making these changes yourself, we recommend you hire a developer to make the changes for you.
If you do decide to make these changes yourself, make sure to download your theme file before doing so, to make sure you have a fail safe if you make a mistake.
