Why is my adjusted inventory not updating correctly in Shopify?

I have recently adjusted items in our Yellow Dog system from a negative number to zero and the information is not updating in Shopify inventory. When I adjust an item that doesn't include a negative inventory number the inventory updates correctly. The item is still showing as negative in Shopify but has been adjusted.
