Why is my customer accounts domain not connecting?

Hi,

My primary domain for my store is connected and works fine.

However, in the domains section of my shopify settings I see an error which I think relates to my customer accounts (see picture). The error says:

"Your domain, account.xyzstore.co.uk, is not yet connected"

It then goes on to list error fetching CAA records, CNAME records and nameserver record etc.

I've been in touch with my domain provider who doesn't understand what the issue is as my primary domain is connected. Please can anyone advise what this issue is and how i can fix it? I haven't changed anything so I don't understand why this has happened.

Your Shopify store's "account.xyzstore.co.uk" problem appears to be related to DNS setup issues, notably with regard to CAA, CNAME, and nameserver records. In order to fix it, make sure that the CNAME record for this subdomain points to Shopify's servers correctly, check to see if any CAA records are preventing Shopify's provider from issuing SSL certificates, and make sure the nameservers are configured correctly, especially if Shopify is in charge of managing your domain. In addition, you might need to attempt the SSL certificate again in your Shopify admin. If you require any special help, you might also think about calling Shopify Support. Remember that it may take up to 48 hours for DNS changes to take effect, so persistence is essential. It is best to get expert help if you are unsure about making these adjustments
