All things Shopify and commerce
I have a store call empirewardrobe.com and been working on it for a while. The problem is I get a lot of traffic but no Conversions. Just wanted to get more eyes on my store to tell me what I need to do. The store traffic is almost 4k a month when I run ads but no conversation.
Hi @Empirewaredrobe ,
This is PageFly - Free Landing Page Builder.
I have just had a look at your store. Your store is pretty. I have just some small recommendations for a better chance of gaining sales. May it help!
Homepage design:
1. Add a favicon to your store
Having a favicon for your store will make your store unique and help customers easily recognize it. You can check this article to know how to add it.
2. Make a sticky header
Sticky header helps customers easily access menu navigation although they scroll down or up on your page. Customers can also quickly reach the Search field to find products with a sticky header.
If your page is long, when you scroll down, there is no quick way to come back to your menu, especially on mobile. You do not have an anchor button to “Back to the top”, so it makes it very inconvenient for customers to go back to your menu and see other pages, products, etc.
3. Have a CTA button on the banner/ slideshow
A primary call to action button is one of the important things for a home page of an online store.
With this button, you will redirect customers to the page you want them to take action mostly. It can redirect to a collection page, or a product page, etc.
4. Add testimonials - customer reviews
I found an article for you about third-party apps that are 07 Tools to Boost Your Conversion Rates and the best reviews app for your store.
Marketing strategies:
Besides building attractive and powerful pages, you should spend more time focusing on marketing strategies, for example:
You can figure out how to do it via this blog here or the top 50+ free dropshipping suppliers and companies.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Good luck and have a nice day! Cheers!
I have also experienced this with paid ads.
Traffic with no conversions often indicates that your ad was interesting enough to click on but perhaps the messaging was different from what they encountered when following the link on the ad.
Another thing to consider is what countries your ad is being served to. Are the people clicking on your ad coming from countries that make purchases? I had an instance of lots of clicks coming from India but no conversions. So effectively the ad spend was being wasted.
You can filter out the countries that don't make purchases to target paying users better.
I also agree with @PageFly-Victor about various marketing strategies.
I do a lot of Pinterest marketing and get a few thousand visits and a couple of hundred conversions per month from this.
Here are some pins on setting up a Pinterest marketing strategy: https://blog.pingenerator.com/pinterest-marketing-strategy/

I hope this helps.
