All things Shopify and commerce
Hi Guys,
I am trying to connect facebook with my shopify store. Everything is done correctly except I always get the prompt as Sync Failed in the product status (of overview section in Facebook & Instagram) settings.
I have attached the screenshot. Is anyone aware about this issue?
Why it is showing sync failed and how it can be resolved?
Thanks in advance!!
Hello @biocule,

When you sync products on Facebook & Instagram, you may have product publishing errors.
If your products are missing some information that Facebook needs, then you see a warning in the Products section on the Overview page of the Facebook channel. When a product has errors associated with it, you need to resolve those errors before you can try to sync the product again with the Facebook channel.
Follow these steps to review and fix the errors in the published products.
1. From your Shopify admin, click Settings
2. Apps and sales channels > Facebook
3. Click Open sales channel
4. In the Products section, click View products to open the bulk product editor
5. Review any publishing errors for products, and make the required changes to product information
6. Save
After fixing all errors try syncing again. See the reference for common product publishing errors.

Hi Gina,
Thanks a lot for detail explanation.
I was just trying to go through the steps and fix the errors but in my case I am just getting the below error.
I then went to Active tab from the above screenshot but didn't find any issue with product publishing. All the channels are checked in the products (screenshot below).
Can you suggest something here as resolution to this issue?
Hi please I also have this problem and I see a document on Shopify but I not resolve this problem please if you can tell me how you resolve that problem
Hi Biocule.. Did you find a solution to your problem? On my shop, It also says no products found when going through the steps.
Regards,
Michelle

In this case, you will want to ensure that all of your products and settings are correct. You can review this troubleshooting guide to ensure that their are no violations that could prevent your products from syncing. If you are still having issues, It would be best to reach out directly to Meta as they will be able to take a closer look.
