Why is my newly purchased domain showing SSL pending and needs attention?

I just bought a domain off shopify, i verified my email and opened all 3 following emails after purchase, now it says im having multiple issues wih my domain, that i bought off SHOPIFY, and its telling me to add an IP that SHOPIFY shouldve taken care of already. I have only 1 email on this account everything is straight, i buy this domain and all i get is SSL Pending, Needs Attention. 
Is this the usual? Or do i have a bigger problem, there doesnt seem to be any on my part.

If you just purchased the domain, you'll probably just need to wait a couple of hours for it to sort itself out. 

The "SSL Pending" message is normal, and will eventually resolve itself (usually within an hour or two).
