Hi there, @dcm1972. Thank you for taking the time to reach out to the Shopify Community with your request for store feedback! My name is Imogen. It's good to meet you!
Thanks for providing your store URL! It was refreshing to load up your site and have the ability to scroll down and see what looks to be a well-designed homepage! I do have some feedback I'm happy to give you below. I hope you find it helpful!
Image on Homepage - The first thing I notice about your homepage is the giant image that appears that I need to scroll through before I see any of your products. Usually, this isn't much of an issue, but this image is very busy and eye-catching, so I took my time scrolling while viewing it. What I noticed is that this image looks to be AI generated, and it's a bit obvious when you start looking at the spelling of some of the words in the image itself. If you're going to use an AI generated image on your homepage, I do recommend that you find an AI that is able to provide you with a higher quality image, and not something that is clearly AI generated, as some customers may be turned off by this.
Branding - Why is your store called 'Daveys.shop'? Is this because you're Davey, and this is your shop? The reason why I'm asking is because your customers will be wondering the same thing! Branding is very important, as it helps make your store and brand pop and feel more legitimate. 'DaveysShop' isn't a bad name, but it reads like this may be a store that is being managed by one person, as opposed to a business that I can trust. I recommend looking into changing your store name, and even your domain, into something more buyer friendly. Can you think of a business name that captures the essence of the products you're trying to sell, or the niche you're filling in the market with your store? We have a guide here that can help you identify the best ways to go about building and fleshing out your brand!
Products - The product you choose to sell will also have an impact on your sales. When I visited your store and looked as your collections and your homepage, it looks like you are selling products that don't really seem to fit well together, and this can be a turn-off to your customers! For example, you have a 'dogs' collection, but your homepage features fitness equipment. Folks may not feel that they'll be getting the best quality product from a business that sells products from a wide array of niches. I recommend that your narrow down the range of your products to a few specific niches, like fitness and technology, for example. This helps you keep the brand focused, and the products focused, which in turn helps you create effective marketing strategies around the products you sell. Customers are also more apt to trust a business when they appear to be focused at providing the best products in a certain niche, so the more products from different niches you sell, the more customers may stop before they shop. We have a guide on building successful dropshipping businesses that outlines choosing a niche as your first big goal.
Marketing - Lastly, we come to marketing. You won't be able to bring customers to your business if you aren't advertising your brand and store! Do you have social media pages built to represent your brand and business? These are simple ways to add increased visibility to your business online. You can also try advertising on TikTok, or creating a TikTok account for your store where you show off the products you're selling in action. Many products (like the hovering discs toys) go viral because of marketing strategies like this. If you haven't done any marketing for your business yet, check out our Marketing Plan blog for tips!

Thank You Imogen for taking the time to look into this for and providing a lot of good feedback. You are correct, I am not doing to well in the sales category and have heard to sticking to a niche vs. all kinds of different products. I will definitely use your advice and make some changes to my store.
Imogen or anyone,

Hi, @dcm1972!
Thanks for reaching back out, I'm happy to take a look at your new store and offer some suggestions.
It's great to see that you've chosen a niche, that will definitely help attract customers! It looks great so far. Here are some easy things you can implement:
Favicon
You may want to add a favicon to your store, which is the icon on the browser tab, like this:
Favicons help strengthen your brand and to add a polished look to your website. Check out this help document for the steps to add one to your store!
Social media links
It is important to add social media links to your store so your customers can build a connection with your brand, and have more trust in your store. I see on your store you currently have Follow us on social media! listed in your footer, but there are no links:
You can check out this help document for the steps to add these links to your store.
Suggestions
I recommend checking out our YouTube video which goes over why your store might not be making sales, and some solutions you can try related to discount offers, themes, and more. It's absolutely worth checking out!
