Why is my online store suddenly unavailable?

Hi there. I am looking for some some advice on why this is happening.

This is the problem:

When I try to access my Shopify admin, I get the following error message:

"Your account does not have permission to view this page. Try using a different account or go back to the list of stores page."

I have taken the usual steps before seeking further assistance (clearing cache and cookies, trying different browsers, checking for pending updates, checking login credentials, etc.).

Not only have I lost access to the backend of my store, but the front end is unavailable too.

I also just started a paid advertising campaign, basically burning money on ads, and people are being redirected to an unavailable site. This really hurts any trust you would have built with customers.

Searching through the community here, this seems to be an issue that has happened to quite a few shop owners, sometimes taking Shopify months and nothing is resolved (or even shared as to WHY??!!).

I have contacted the Shopify help center, the agent is very polite and assures to escalate my issue to the accounts team, but otherwise I get no information and the issue persists for days already. But still, kudos to the customer support team.

I just started out, so luckily I know that there may not be any paid orders in my account that need to be processed (or at least refunded).
But how would you go about it if you were a fully operational business and you did not get a timely resolution of the issue? Has anyone experienced this and any tips on how you would handle it? You burn money on campaigns that need to be suspended (big loss), you lose customer trust, you can't process orders, you still have to continue to pay for all apps / the shopify platform etc.

This is a paid platform. We at least deserve some actual answers and information regarding:
* What is the problem? Why is this happening?
* What is the team actually DOING to fix the problem?

Thank you.
