Why is my shopify total sales different to the amount that goes in bank. There is a big difference in the amount that goes in the bank account than what shopify is saying for total sales for the year. Is afterpay / zippay / PayPal taking their fees out before sending to our bank account ?

The amount that hits the bank account is the same amount as the "NET SALES" amount in shopify, it seems the shipping and taxes amount is not going across to the bank account.

Correct me if Im wrong but it is very fustrating.

Would appreciate any help, Tribalwear.

Hello there @Tribalwear  My likely suspicion is the one you mentioned meaning that the payment platforms are deducting their fees before sending the payments. From my experience with PayPal tho, they do show alerts ahead of the fees to be deducted but I’m not sure that applies particularly in your case. I believe it would be a good idea to get across to the support teams of these payment platforms for proper clarification.

You're right platform fees like PayPal or Afterpay usually get deducted before the funds reach your account. It might also help to check if Shopify’s 'Net Sales' already excludes voltix shipping and taxes.
