I just installed Shopify, worked on a product.
I didn’t see how to change or work on the theme of my product so I decided to pay for the Basic Shopify Plan.
right after paying, my account freezes, logged my out, and now saying inactive.
I thought it was a wifi connection so I try to sign in through my laptop and a different phone
But they all say inactive, it charge my credit card and now I’m in distress wondering what happened and why it’s inactive after paying. HELPP

When it comes to matters like this, we recommend you check your email for any direct messages from us to inform you as to why the account is currently not accessible. I recommend you check the email listed in your owner account as well as your spam folders. You should've received direct correspondence from us informing you as to why this is happening.
If you are not seeing any of this on your end, I recommend reaching out to our live support team for further assistance. Once they verify your credentials, they can open up back end information and dig deeper as to why this is happening.

I am shopify partner from few years now and I build and spend time for my client. He has upgrade to a Paid plan (annual) and the store gone INACTIVE -
My Ticket number is 35191879 - And i am waiting to get support AND NO ONE is getting Back Me
the client wants to proceed to a chargeback- I will not getting paid for my work too - and shopify has charge him and right after has made his store inactive
I NEED TO GET SUPPORT AND QUICKLY PLEASE

Was this ever resolved? my store also turned "inactive" after I updated my payment method. Now I can't access my store and my domain and there's just a "we'll be back soon" note. I did not even receive an email about the random inactive status of my store. Before this happened I also just paid my bills 2 days prior via the automatic Shopify Debit every month.

With regards to your store being inactive, we always refer you to your email for any messages from us about this change or your admin for any red banners about this. If you are not seeing any of this on your end, please reach out to our live support team for assistance.
Once they verify your credentials, they can open up back end information to dig deeper to see what is happening specifically with your account and provide next best steps moving forward.

You guys never reached out to me before turning my store inactive. Same thing for me. I paid the shopify plan and 2 hours later my store is inactive. It’s been 8 days and they can’t reach out to me. As a customer we have the right to know the reasons why you guys closed our stores. But I have no info. They keep telling me that the review team will reach out to me. But 8 DAYS FOR A REVIEW ? That’s crazy ! I can confidently and sincerely say that there is no illegal activity in my store, and now I cant even access my admin to ship the pending orders. This is a mess and a bad look on shopify! Now our customers think that we are scammers which is understandable because they come back to the website to check the shipping status but they find that the website is closed. I need an answer quickly because im ready to move on now
