Why is my website domain still showing 'Set Up In Progress'?

I have been having an issue with my website domain. I reached out to customer support last month and still have the same issue. It is still displaying 'Set Up In Progress'.

Hi @tomaszheat,

 

Thank you for sharing this! I understand that under your Shopify-managed domains, the status shows Setup in Progress. I'll be happy to help you out and provide some resources to have this resolved for you. Did you transfer this domain from a third-party host and did you receive a domain verification email?

 

In order to verify your domain, you will need to update the email address on file or try and locate the domain verification email address you may have received.

 

To change / update the email address on file you'll need to navigate to your Shopify admin > Settings > Domains section and scroll down to the Shopify-managed domains section. From there, you'll need to click Manage next to the domain that has the status Setup in Progress. 

 

 

 

Once you've selected Manage from the bottom right, on the following page there will be the option to Edit the email address in the Registrar Information section. Once updated, the verification email will resend within 24-48 hours after changing the email on file. Please be sure to check your inbox, spam, junk folder etc for the verification email. Hey @Victoria,

 

I original purchased my domain from a third-party in July. Last month I transferred the domain over to Shopify. I received a 'Confirmation of registrar transfer request' email from the third-party on 12/08/2021.

 

I received a 'VERIFICATION REQUIRED - Please verify your domain name(s) as soon as possible' email from Shopify on 12/13/21. As soon as I read the email I clicked on the approval link.

 

I went back into the domain management and re-entered my email.

Thank you for trying that method. The email you received containing the domain verification link from Shopify on 12/13/21 has likely expired. Could you double check that you have entered the correct email, it is spelled correctly and have checked your spam or junk folder.
