Why is the print gift card option missing in POS settings?

Noticed today that our POS is no longer giving us the option to "print gift card" when issuing a store credit for customers. It is only giving us the option to email or text it to the customer. Is there a way to change this in settings? We currently have the basic Shopify plan.
