Hello, this is the store I'm working on. When I view my website, the currency shows in EU. When I check all my settings it says US currency, which is what I want it to be. What is going wrong, and how can I fix it?

Hey @kyliehowland,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! The currency that products and prices appear to customers can be located under Settings > Store Details > Store Currency. This is likely set to EUR and is why you're seeing that currency when shopping on the storefront. If an adjustment is needed to change the currency from EUR to USD, you can Contact Shopify Support to have this changed!  I also recommend checking out our Selling and Getting Paid helpdoc as it touches on this further.

If however, the shop's currency is set to USD, are you utilizing the Shopify Markets feature and/or any apps being used that would convert currency for customers automatically?

Hi I am also having this problem with my website https://ourcollectiveco.store/, when I search on google the price comes up in USD when I want it to be in AUD. All my settings have been changed to AUD, so not sure why it's coming up in USD. Thanks

Hi Maz

I am just using shopify markets. Not sure if you saw the image I attached but the "USD 65.00" is the problem. I have attached it again.

Thanks!

Hi. I am also having trouble showing the correct dollar. It's supposed to be USD. That's what my store is set to. On mobile it shows USD price but on web it shows GMD. Please help me fix this.

Hi there, I contacted the Shopify support when I faced this issue, they told me to clear the cache on my browser (I use Firefox), and the problem was fixed! Hope that helps 🙂

Hi, I am having the same issue not consistently on my website https://ecotan.com.au/

It looks like a glitch, yesterday showing Yen in a device but correctly in others. Today showing NIS in another device, but correctly in the rest.
I have checked my settings and everything is correct. I don't have any currency conversion app installed.
So I don't understand what is going on.

Hi there,

I set my store currency in EUR, however when I view the store, it is under BAM. My store went live yesterday. This happened 1 day after I go live. It was working fine when I did the test run. I tried logout and login again. Doesn't work.Same shows up on my other devices.

Please help.

Hey @Mladjox

Can you share a link to your store for us to test out? You will also want to double check if you have local currency pricing setup or a geolocation option on your store.

Thanks for following up @Mladjox, to confirm your store URL is: https://622382-72.myshopify.com, is that correct?

When reviewing the site I am seeing EUR as the currency on the store. This appears to be working as expected. If the issue is persisting you will want to connect with our support in our Help Center for further assistance.

Thanks for your reply.

I know that there are euros on the website, but when I want to put a price on the products, the system automatically tells me that I can put the price in BAM, which is my local currency, and when I want to put a price on the product of 300 BAM, which translates to about 150 euros on the site it says that this product is 300 euros instead of 150 euros.

When I cleared my browser's cache, everything went back to normal. It is important to note that while I was seeing a different currency than what my website was set to, when others accessed the site they saw the correct currency. So as I understand it is a matter of clearing the cache.
