Why isn't my TikTok pixel tracking product additions?

Hi there,

I'm getting desperate with the Tiktok pixel.

We have now completed the basic structure of our shop and are now adding products.

I am currently working on the different analytics.

But I am failing with the Tik Tok pixel.

I use the official app and yesterday I reinstalled everything from scratch and created a new one.

However, the pixel only actively tracks page views.

 

I also want to add products to TikTok through the Pixel, but it doesn't work.

Where is my mistake?

Here i want to share some troubleshootings

1. Make sure that the TikTok pixel code is installed correctly on all the pages you want to track. You can use the TikTok Pixel Helper chrome browser extension to verify that the pixel is firing correctly.

2. For tracking beyond page views, such as add to cart, purchase, etc., you'll need to set up specific events within TikTok Ads Manager. Make sure that these events are configured correctly according to the actions you want to track.

3.  If you're using Shopify, consider using TikTok's official Shopify app, which should simplify the process of setting up the pixel and tracking events.

that's exactly what I do.

i even recreated the business and adaccount during the installation in the official tiktok shopify app out of desperation.

before that i reinstalled the app once to rule out the error

I followed the installation instructions exactly step by step.

but for some reason it may not work

And when i check your screenshot again, then i realise that you aleady have records for each event. If you worried that only the page view showing active then please try to visit the product page and add it to cart and in the same time check the static that also will be active.

Hi, i am facing the same issue as well. My pixel is fine and active, but my events aren´t. I can´t choose optimalization event when setting up ads. Can you help?
