Why isn't SPOD automatically receiving payments from my orders?

Hi I am using SPOD print on demand.  I have an order and the payment was automatically captured.  I thought it would then transfer automatically to SPOD so they can fullfil the order.  However the funds were deposited into my bank account.  Now SPOD payment status is Awaiting Your Payment.   I also just added my business debit card info directly on SPOD.  will they automatically receive.y payment now and fullfil.y order?    Why didn't SPOD receive my funds  directly from Shopify once the order was paid and captured?

I've done a bit of research on this topic because I was having the same problem in a different software and POD system. But it seems that anywhere you go, POD systems don't have the ability to access payments from the store, and you have to pay in separately, which means you need to be the middle man regardless. Ideally there is a system where you own a websit/store, (Unlike tee-spring or Society6) and the POD takes the payment from the order and fulfils it, leaving you with just the profit, but that software just doesnt exist yet.
