Just wow. I had heard so much about Shopify being a great community and I plied myself with the task of creating a small online business as a side-hustle. I have in the past done much bigger projects (e.g., www.mywinecanada.com) but most of my entrepreneurial ventures have never really panned out, so I was going with the small, side-hustle, version. 

I was amazed today at the email that they have closed up my shop with no warning and not even specifying where I went wrong. There is no reference to the part of the Terms and/or AUP where I went wrong, and I was just in test mode with a site that was a couple of weeks from launch. What about cancelling the app subscriptions I had trials on? They just disintegrated my hard work and revoked access to the site. Super heavy-handed and disappointing that they could not at least point to where I went wrong so I could fix it. You would think they could at least disable the ability to "go live" or take some less extreme measure. 

Here is the not I got, I have responded and will keep all posted but after this experience I don't feel like a valued partner and will look at an alternate platform anyway I guess:
