All things Shopify and commerce
My Shopify account was recently terminated in the middle of my free trial, with zero explanation. I was only told that "it is in violation of Shopify's Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). As a result, we are no longer able to host your store on the Shopify platform and your account has been closed."
This makes no sense to me since I hadn't even finish setting up my store, nor had I linked a product. So I have no idea what on earth could have caused my shop to get terminated. Anyways, I decided to try my luck with the Dispute Action Form, but I can't even fill out my own name. Could it be because I hadn't provided my name while I was setting up my Shopify store? And if it is, how on earth am I supposed to rectify it?

So I checked out the Shopify Help Center and got in contact with a live Support Advisor. He said my account was "put on hold" and that he'd escalate the support request to presumably a more senior team in order to prioritize the store being reactivated. I didn't manage to find out why my store was put on hold, but overall the customer support was very satisfactory.
@Fitztacles What type of products are you selling into your store?
Nothing. I didn't even finish setting up my store, publish any website, or link any product.

Did you get your store back now? I also experienced the same now. Almost a week since I appeal and still dont get any responses
