Why won't my domain purchased from Shopify get released?

Why wont shopify release my domain that I bought from them? All I get is email support team and they will take care of it..... Yeah right .... I'm still waiting a week later and have heard nothing...

If you have reached out to our live support in regards to getting your domain released and have received a ticket number, I can assure you that you are in good hands. If you would like to get an update on the situation, I would suggest replying to the most recent email conversation you have with our support. This will notify the corresponding team that is working on the situation. 
Additionally, you can get in direct contact with our live support about the situation by navigating to our Help Center. Be sure to have your ticket number to provide the Support Advisor for context on the situation.
