Will a Pause and build plan cause a Google suspension?

I'm interested in downgrading to a pause and build plan for a few months. I'm concerned about Google crawling the site and suspending my merchant account. Among other things the pause and build plan disables your checkout, this in itself will trigger a suspension on your store with Google.

Is there a way to do this without Google getting angry 😕

Yes, it will cause a suspension, Good you asked!

What you need to do, is delete your data feed application, and delete any feeds you have listed: https://merchants.google.com/mc/products/sources

Make sure you check again in 24 hours, as sometimes the feed can be resubmitted.
