I’m wondering what everyone’s else’s experience has been with Shopify customer service. I have twice been the victim of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. They have zero care for your business. They tried to rush through everything then ignored me when they didn’t have an answer. Most recently I waited 6 hours to speak to a human just to be ignored. My printer went down so my cash drawer is locked. I’ve gone through all the steps listed on Shopify website and gone through everything with an associate. It will not connect. I was told to upgrade my iPad so I could connect the the printer. I did so but still could not resolve the issue. This was around 2:00 in the afternoon. I then tried to connect with the agent that was helping me to get more assistance but that never happened. I waited 6-7 hours and all I got was the robot assistant telling me an associate would be with me shortly. Nobody ever helped me. I have read other users claims that the printer I purchased, which is the one the sales person told me to buy, is not working if you download the new Shopify upgrade. I don’t know what’s going on but it seems like I will not be helped. I called sales just to be told to talk to the robot that was making me wait for hours. This system has many flaws. It looses connection to the card reader and my bar code scanner regularly, which has made it very difficult to hire employees. It’s tough enough to get someone that works but now they need to be trained to deal with reconnecting the reader/scanner on the fly which has been very difficult. I think I need a new printer that will work better with the system, but out of fear I will need to have any help with shopifys customer service to connect it, I will be selling this ‘POS’ and will be switching to a different company.

It's the absolute worst. They no longer care about their merchants unless they are plus members (paying $1k). I've been begging for help for 9 weeks. 9 weeks man. It's a poop show.
