I'm relatively new to Shopify, so pardon me if this question has been asked before.
If a product has 3 variations with 3 different photos (1 for each variant), when the shopper selects variant 2 or variant 3, and then goes to the cart to check out, the cart only show variant photo 1. So I have deduced that Shopify always shows variant photo 1 in the cart regardless of which variant is selected.
How does one get the cart to display the correct photo of a selected variant?
Thank you very much for any advice you might have to offer.

Hi there,
I think this could be quite an easy one to remedy 🙂
Within each product you can select which image you wish to associate with a variant (see screenshot)
When a customer adds that specific variant to their cart (in this instance, a different coloured frame), the thumbnail in the cart will match the image that you associated to that particular variant.
I hope this solves it for you and if you have any questions, you can get in touch with me directly.
Kindest regards
Iain
