I've tried to use a different card than the one associated with my account to check out an item but this is what pops up. I have just used this card today so I don't think that's the issue. I also have tried to enter it 4 times but it still isn't going through. Please let me know what is going on as soon as possible, thank you.

Greetings, and thanks for posting.
Unfortunately, when it comes to credit card errors, the error is provided by the consumers bank and the checkout relays the information provided. Additionally, Shopify Support does not have access to the merchants orders. As such, it's best to reach out directly to your bank for more information.

I've tried 4 different cards and only one of them has worked but I have used the other 3 cards today for groceries, etc, and they've gone through perfectly fine. The payment gateway I'm using is Shopify Payments, I'm not sure if there's any way to fix this. Please let me know as soon as possible if there is.

In person transactions verify differently than online transactions. For example, online purchases require the correct billing address.
As mentioned, however, Shopify does not have access to a merchant's orders to assist with your payment. As such, you will need to contact your bank, or the business you are attempting to purchase from directly.
