Hinweis im Checkout für Sofortüberweisung (Klarna)

Wir haben leider häufig den Fall, dass Kunden, die per Sofortüberweisung bezahlen, nicht damit rechnen, dass der Versand 3-4 Tage dauert, bis die Zahlung bei uns eingegangen ist. Wer kann es ihnen verdenken bei dem Namen der Zahlungsart...

Wir haben bereits einen Hinweis zu dem Thema in unseren FAQs, aber das lesen natürlich nicht alle. Sehr gerne würden wir direkt im Checkout einen Hinweis einbauen oder den Namen der Zahlungsart ändern (ohne SOFORT). Hat jemand eine Idee, wie wir das anstellen können?

Gibt es alternativ eine Möglichkeit eine etwas höhere Paymentgebühr zu zahlen, aber dafür sofort eine clearance zu bekommen?

this is most likely a problem affecting only Germany as there is a payment method here called "Sofort Transfer". In english that would be something like "Instant Bank Transfer". The customers using that payment method think that it would be the same as PayPal or credit card meaning they make the payment and we instantly get the money and ship the package. However, as with normal bank transfer there is a 2-3 day delay until the order will get the status 'paid' and be shipped. So the problem really lies in the name of the payment method which could not be changed.

One solution would be to add a note in checkout when someone selects that payment method. However, that is not possible as far as we see it.

Ideas are welcome.

We do understand challenges regarding this.   

Unfortunately regarding renaming the payment method is not currently supported: https://docs.klarna.com/platform-solutions/shopify/payments/klarna-payments/known-constraints/#4-ren...

One possible option: you could add text (within the theme's language 'Offsite gateway redirect hint' text) within the payment method gray box (which is displayed when the payment method is selected), but that text would apply to all alternative payment methods.

If your store is Shopify Plus, possibly could you add an automatic additional discount if the payment method is not Klarna Sofort?
