POD-Apps in Shopify Lite?

Great question and I would love to delve a bit deeper into the this topic here if I may. Btw, you have reached the German community here, und wir können das gerne auf Deutsch weiter besprechen, but English is fine too 😉

So you are using the Lite Plan and you want to showcase POD products like T-shirts, hoodies, mugs etc. is that correct? Just curious: you know that a shop on the Lite plan cannot showcase any products as the online store is deactivated on the Lite plan, right? So why would you have POD products in a shop on the Lite plan? Are you selling via our POS in a physical store?

With the Lite Plan you generally plant a Buy Button on a 3rd party website in order to use the Shopify Shop Checkout ONLY. There is no online store as such (if you get what I mean).

So let me know exactly what you are planning to do and sell, what products, where to, and to what target audiences, and we can definitely thrash out some great ideas to build a successful store. How does that sound?

all I need is a solution to sell a small number of print on demand products (3-5). I don't need/want a store, the products will be embedded in a website and social media. 

Basically I just need a backend with a connection to a POD-service to manage products and sales. Would Shopify Lite allow me to do that?

Ah gotcha! So you want to store the POD Products in your Shopify Shop backend but they will be made available to your customers on Facebook and social media and embedded on a 3rd party website.

Question: how will you transfer the POD products from your Shopify backend to the 3rd party website where they will be showcased? What POD provider would you like to use, Shirtee, Shirtigo, Printful (you still haven't mentioned what type of POD products you want to sell and to what target audience)?

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news but regarding our various sales channels, these mostly require the Basic Plan. You can see the Facebook and Instagram channel requirements here and the Google Channel requirements here where this is laid out.

Can I also ask, would the basic plan not be an option for you at $29/month? You get a full online store with it and a range of great free themes to choose from including our very own Dawn Theme (not to mention, all our free sales channels).
