Buying a shopify business

Hi Guys,

I’m planning to buy an existing shopify business, just wanted to know if it is possible to produce fake sales reports or fake sales in general.

The business is doing ok but the current owner doesn’t have a tax report for the last financial year( is tax return is mixed up with his main business) and all he has to show are sales reports from shopify and some bank statements.
