Foundations Certification - Expire Date and Badge

Hi everybody,

I would need to have some information about the Foundations Certification:

1. After a person has obtained the certification, is there a need to renew it after a certain time or does it last forever?
2. When a person obtains the certification, does Shopify send a certificate via email?
3. Does the person who has obtained the certification need to access the private area for any reason (reach info about the certification, reach the badge of the certification, etc.)?

Those are great questions!

Once a learner passed the exam, a certification will be rewarded to them and the credential will be valid for two years. They will receive a notification email indicating the completion of the course and exam. For more information, please review Credly: Accepting a Badge.

Our certifications are hosted by Credly which allows you to save and share them on platforms like LinkedIn. As a freindly remind, badges for individual courses or modules cannot be shared on social media. That said, they are viewable in your Credly account. For more information on how to share badges on external sites, please review Credly: Sharing to Social media.
