What are the requirements in taking the Foundation Certification Exam?

Hi everyone.  Especially to those who have already taken the exam.  Pass or Fail.  I'm planning to take the Foundation Certification exam next week, and I just want to make sure I'm well prepared in mind and equipment.  So I have few questions:

1. Can you share how this AI-proctored exam is conducted?  I'm assuming that we will be taking the exam online via our laptop, with webcam turned on, and screen recording rolling. 
2. Is the exam taken via Chrome browser?  Or any browser will do?  
3. Do we need an external webcam?  Or an internal webcam will do?  
4. What are other requirements besides paying the $99 fee. 

I may be wrong in my assumptions, so anyone who can describe how this exam is done would be a good guide for the takers.

Since nobody responded, I still went on to take the Shopify Foundation Certification exam and passed it on my first take.  

I paid the exam using my personal credit card and the receipt was sent to my personal email address to which my credit card is linked.  (receipt was not sent to my company email where my Shopify account was created).

For the questions I have raised earlier, (since nobody from the community answered), I will give brief answers to each, hoping that this might be useful for the learners before taking the exam.

1. Can you share how this AI-proctored exam is conducted? 
   You need to have a laptop, a browser, and a webcam.  I've used a headset since you need to be audible.  The rest is to simply read and follow instructions. 
2. Is the exam taken via Chrome browser?  Or any browser will do? 
   I took the exam using Chrome browser.  I believe any other top browsers will be acceptable.
3. Do we need an external webcam?  Or an internal webcam will do? 
   I have used the built-in webcam in my laptop. 
4. What are other requirements besides paying the $99 fee. 
   Review your Shopify Foundation courses and be ready for the exam. 

Final Note: During the exam, your screen might go off (like what happened to me after answering 75% of the questions).  But don't panic, there will be a proctor who will be available for chat to assist you when you face any issues.  Look for the chat icon.  I was advised to relaunch my browser, and I came back to the page of the same question when my screen went off.

Unfortunately, this Learning Path will be removed this July 31, 2024.  And my Shopify Foundation credential will expire after 2 years. 😞 
I felt like not taking another EXAM.  Just the learning PATH.

I'm assuming no one is replying because it's just another sales pitch to have charged us a hundred dollars if they were any other way they would have charged for the course this set up I supposed to be able to establish with no expectation that little or no experience with zero or as little money required to get started.

Yes.  It is multiple choice.

cool. I saw that there is no time limit for the assessment, is there a screen recording during the exam?

Not sure there is. But you need to have your webcam switched on or your exam may not start.
