Shopify Flow is an ecommerce automation platform that enables you to automate tasks and processes within your store and across your apps.
Trying to find out if there is any way with Flow to tag the line items in an order (not the order itself) so that location passes through the JSON data at the line level. We are exploring some shipping through a 3PL versus our warehouse so inventory would live at 2 locations. When an order has a combination of items that can't be fully fulfilled at one location or the other, a split order is generated. In the admin, this is clear as they are separated by location visually in the order. But were finding the data passing out through to the ERP does not specify which products ship from where. I know flow can tag the order, but can you tag the line level in any way? Tagging the product outside that order wont solve the issue.

Not sure what you mean by this.
Tags and metafields cannot be placed on line items. You could potentially set lineitems / customAttributes but I think you cannot set those after checkout. You may need to use Functions in checkout to accomplish this, if you actually need the data on lineItems.
