Shopify Flow is an ecommerce automation platform that enables you to automate tasks and processes within your store and across your apps.
Hi there! I am trying to create a Shopify Flow that alerts our team when a specific SKU reaches the safety stock threshold. We reserve units in "Unavailable" as safety stock to avoid overselling, but have no way of knowing when a certain SKU meets its threshold. In Flows, I only see a way to trigger based on the inventory available for sale - is there a way to set up triggers based on unavailable quantities?
Thanks for any insight!
Olivia
Hey Olivia, I'd recommend you check out the app Flow Helper - The missing Flow triggers and actions you've always wanted | Shopify App Store. See if will provide the extra trigger you were looking for.
Alternatively, you can also contact Kalen (the app developer) to give you a direction on this. Check him out at Shopify Automation As A Service | Flow (flow-helper.com)
Hey Paul, thanks for that recommendation, I will definitely check it out!
Hi Olivia - I don't believe that will be possible until the quantities field from the API is available in flow.
@paul_n any idea when that might be available?
Thanks for your response @Kalen_Jordan! I will wait to hear back from Paul - hopefully those properties are available soon 🙂
