Product Ordered Flow

Hello,

      I have searched everywhere for this answer and I haven't been able to locate an answer. Am I able to create a flow that will tag an order when certain items are ordered? I have a collection of items and when they are ordered I would like for those orders to be tagged. 

Also - is it possible to create a flow that will tag an order when a certain shipping method is chosen? 

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Meghan,

Yes! Both are possible 🙂

To tag orders that contain a specific product, you just need to use the line item > product name condition. Here is a template you can copy to your workflows and edit: https://shopify.com/admin/apps/flow/templates/37719

It's also possible to tag orders that used a specific shipping method, as well. You can edit this template: https://shopify.com/admin/apps/flow/templates/37721

And if you're doing this for multiple items can you use a comma-separated list or RegEx or Liquid for multiple items? Or is there a way to isolate line items by product.type that I'm missing somewhere?

As @jewellsolutions asked - is there a way to trigger the order flow based on product type or collection? It would be very impractical if we had to change the product names in order to trigger the event, or list all the possible products of one type in the flow rule.

Hi @AnthonyKentris and @jewellsolutions  did you guys find a solution on this.. like to use Product_type to give users a tag after what they are buying, so that I can make a segment ?
