Shopify Flow is an ecommerce automation platform that enables you to automate tasks and processes within your store and across your apps.
Had to learn Shopify and have almost finished our site.
We have created a members club where people pay £xx per year to join. They get taster pages to show what’s available after they have joined/subscribed.
So I’ve installed the recharge app for the yearly subscription.
I’ve installed Locksmith app to unlock the pages once someone has subscribed.
I have installed Klaviyo app for email marketing.
We also have an easy digital product app to give subscribers a unique generated code, This currently will be used to gain entry to a third party site that has a lot of our offers and discounts.
BUT THIS IS WHAT WE WANT TO DO
A potential customer looks at our site. They click on the membership taster pages.
SO THEY DECIDE TO PURCHASE A YEARLY MEMBERSHIP/SUBSCRIPTION.
AND THIS IS WHAT I WANT TO HAPPEN ON OUR SITE
THEY PURCHASE USING
Name
Address
Email address
Maybe their Telephone Number
Once payment is made they receive confirmation and a unique license number.
This should then be stored so they can log in to their account and site.
AT THIS POINT WE ARE NOT SURE HOW TO STOP SOMEONE WHO HAS JOINED FROM GIVING THEIR LOGIN DETAILS TO SOMEONE ELSE SO THEY CAN ACCESS THE OFFER CODES WHICH WE WOULD LIKE TO BE INSIDE OUR SITE AND NOT A THIRD-PARTY.
The access codes for offers and deals inside our site will be a bit like an affiliate code
BUT WE ALSO have several companies who need our member's details passed to them so that they can allow those people access to the services we have negotiated with them.
NOT SURE IF WE DO THIS MANUALLY OR IF THERE IS A WAY THAT ONCE SOMEONE HAS PAID THERE IS A WAY THAT THOSE DETAILS CAN BE PASSED ON TO OUR VARIOUS SUPPLIERS?
That’s it for the moment. Sorry, it's long-winded but my gut feeling is that we need to hire a Shopify Expert to automate as much as we can with what we want to do. Would appreciate feedback and comments and any further questions please ask.
There is a Flow trigger for when a Customer is Created and then you can add conditions that'll check the account for a Premium membership and if those conditions are met, the Action can be sending an email to the suppliers.
There are several other apps from which you can create a trigger as well. If you can't figure it out yourself, the expert route may be the way to go.
