Update Metafield with the Date a product is turned active on

I would like to have a metafield that updates with the current date when a product status is turned to active. Right now I have one that says it is successful but the date is not being updated. Some help would be appreciated.

Hi Mrduncan,

Your metafield looks like it has the namespace custom and key date_created.  You should put those each into the respective namespace and key fields instead of using custom.date_created in both.
