Wrong discount cannot be uninstalled

When an item is added to the cart, and the you proceed to the checkout, Shopify seems to be deducting about 6.7% off the price. We have a discount code running, but this issue is not tied to that code. I have checked and even when not using the code, the price changes once added to the cart. For example, a $79.9 item is added to the cart - it shows $74. I used a plugin that offered a 10% discount to partners. I have now uninstalled all plugin.

When you're not using the code, the prices are changed in the cart. How about checkout? Is it still changed?

Yes, the price will change, as if someone has programmed it.

Are you using an automatic discount or just a plain discount that needs its code to be applied?

I've added to cart the product from the link you sent me and tried to checkout. Both prices inside the cart and the checkout are the same.

It should be 79.9. The price you see is the changed price.

Hi Indigosea,

If you do not have any active discounts, it's possible that the actual prices and compare-at prices of your products were changed.

Many discount apps do not actually create discounts and instead apply bulk price edits to products.

I recommend looking at the prices of the affected product variants. If you notice a compare-at-price option, you can remove it and update the price to the desired value.
