French menu navigation behaving differently than English (default)

We (https://www.timeouttribe.com/pages/home) have an issue where when a person navigates in the French language the menu navigation sends them back to the homepage in English. The nested menus are meant to offer the only links available (use of #) - which work in English, but not in French. The titles offer a link and this link is back to the English version of the home page. This is the case with our products, news page and first responders page. I can see that in English the URL reference is: pages/home# and that in French it is simply /fr#.

Also, of note, we have a similar issue on our first responders page with  the register link (account/register) being inverted between French and English. Clicking the link in English sends to French and clicking the link in French sends to English.
