Dear Shopify Team,
I am writing to request the addition of the "Gift Card" as a payment option when creating orders through the Shopify admin interface. Our service center handles a large volume of phone and mail orders, and this functionality would significantly streamline our process and enhance our efficiency, especially during the busy holiday season.
Currently, while gift cards can be redeemed online or at our POS, the inability to apply them to orders created in the admin panel requires cumbersome workarounds. Adding this feature would greatly benefit many merchants like us who rely on direct customer interactions and need a seamless and consistent payment experience across all channels.
We kindly request this enhancement be considered for implementation before the holiday season to help us provide a better service to our customers.
