Shopify upsell capabilities

I’m wondering if it’s possible to upsell products without using an extension app.. I would like to avoid using an app to do it so that I don’t need an extra cost

Hey @Gabic, 

That depends on where you would like to add the upsell. If it's in the cart page before checkout, that wouldn't need an app. If it's related to the checkout, you will need an app for it.

Where are you planning to add the upsell?

I was hoping to add it in the cart before clicking check out… do you have a how-to?

I don't have a how-to, but I can make one for you and create the custom section as well. If you'd like me to do that for you, just let me know.

On another note, do you have a reference of what you want? Maybe a screenshot of somebody else's store such as Nike or a link? That would be very helpful
