Add an internal specific note to a product

I have a specific demand please

Each of our product has a serial number associated to it. I would like to add an editable line item, so when fulfilling the order, we can internally add the serial number under the product variant line item (see screenshot).
That way, we can easily search the serial number through the order tab, or when we pull a customer information, we can see all the item he ordered with serial number showing up, same way as variant shows up.

We use currently serializer, but too limited & costly. I know that it would requires just adding to the code a line item editable. or a note associated per product.

We will be using this only internally & when fulfilling the order when it is created.

Hi @chargefuzeshop ,

As @KetanKumar suggested adding line items from admin is not possible.

However I think you can your serial number as tag to every order.
