Personalized checkout and custom promotions with Shopify Scripts
I'm sure it's because I've made a few custom edits in the code that's caused it but after removing some of it the problem still persists and add to cart doesn't seem to be working properly, anybody else able to help diagnose this issue? Thank you.
Hi @JMD1411
It sounds like your custom edits may have affected your site's event tracking. When I checked your store, I noticed that not only is the "Add to Cart" function not working, but none of the events are being tracked. This includes integrations with Google Ads, GA4, Google Tag Manager, Bing, Facebook, and TikTok.
To diagnose and potentially resolve the issue, start by reviewing the custom edits you made to see if any critical tracking codes were altered or removed.
Pay special attention to any changes around the tracking scripts and make sure they are correctly implemented.
Ensure that all necessary tracking scripts are still present and correctly placed on your site, as missing or improperly placed scripts can prevent events from being tracked. Open your browser's developer console and look for any error messages related to tracking scripts, as this can give you insights into what might be going wrong.
If possible, revert to a version of your site’s code before the custom edits were made to determine if the edits are indeed the source of the problem. Use tag debugging tools, like Google Tag Assistant or Facebook Pixel Helper, to see if the tags are firing correctly. These tools can help you identify which tags are not working.
Finally, review the documentation for each of the tracking platforms to ensure that your implementation matches their latest guidelines.
For a simpler solution, consider using Analyzify. With Analyzify, you can easily integrate different tracking platforms without making edits to your code. It can handle the setup for Google Ads, GA4, Google Tag Manager, Bing, Facebook, and TikTok, ensuring that all events are properly tracked and reported.
This could save you time and help avoid potential errors that come with manual coding.

Thanks , is just a matter of removing this part of code or more than that?
